Audio-Visual
My audio-visual experience combines live event support, conference room setup, home studio configuration, music production, and technical troubleshooting. I am interested in AV work because it is of the utmost importance in letting technology serve people in the digital age: microphones, speakers, displays, cameras, conferencing tools, and cabling all need to work properly to allow for excellent, clear communication.
Relevant Experience
- Assisted with the installation of a conference room system involving VoIP, display equipment, cabling, and room technology setup.
- Helped set up audio and visual equipment for live music events at schools, bars, and dedicated venues including projectors, speakers, monitors, microphones, and necessary cabling.
- Built and maintained home studio environments for recording, mixing, mastering, composition, and audio production.
- Troubleshot issues involving signal flow, levels, cabling, audio interfaces, software configuration, and computer-based media workflows.

Approach
My approach to AV work is practical and service-oriented. I focus on understanding the room, the people using the system, the equipment involved, and the signal path between each component. Whether the setting is a conference room, a live event, or a home studio, the goal is always to make the technology clear, reliable, and easy for people of all technical backgrounds to use.
This of course connects naturally with my IT experience. Many AV systems depend on computers, networks, conferencing platforms, firmware, technical communication, documentation, and careful troubleshooting. I bring both creative audio experience and a technical systems mindset to that work.
